Intercultural Dance Workshops

About this event

Celebrate cultural exchange through movement and dance at Friars’ Gate Theatre in Kilmallock. Led by experienced traditional dancer and facilitator Ciara Flanagan, these interactive workshops introduce participants to traditional Irish dance styles and rhythms alongside German folk dance. Separate sessions are tailored for children aged 6–11, teenagers aged 12–17 and adults aged 18+. The emphasis is on participation, enjoyment and cultural exchange in a relaxed and inclusive setting, and no previous dance experience is necessary. The workshops form part of Limerick’s county-pairing programme with Germany, celebrating the cultural connections between Ireland and Germany.
